Yes! Father Rothrock has been reinstated and assigned as a missionary priest to St. Paul's Catholic Church in Marion, IN! Praise God!
An organization I was a board member, Catholics for Unity and Peace, removed me because I did not want to abandon Father Rothrock when CUP decided to move away from Father in order to appease Bishop Doherty. This page acts as continued support to Father Rothrock since his page has been removed from CUP's website.
Church Militant came to Indianapolis to film those of us that were at the protest on July 5th, 2020 supporting Father Rothrock against the BLM protesters, Carmel Against Racial Injustice who swiftly acted with the Bishop to remove Father Rockroth from ministry. What was Father's offense? He wrote an open letter in St. Elizabeth Seton's parish bulletin, educating his parishoners about the self-proclaimed Marxist organization, Black Lives Matter.
Lifesite News delivered a petition to the Bishop's residence on July 16th, 2020 with almost 40,000 signatures asking for Father Rothrock's reinstatement. Bishop Doherty did not answer the door nor did anyone on his staff.
"We MUST fight to protect our churches. The Catholic Church is already in danger. A Priest in Indiana was recently suspended for revealing the TRUTH on Black Lives Matter. He wrote that BLM is spreading a poison "more toxic than any pandemic we have ever endured," adding that "the only lives that matter are their own, and the only power they seek is their own." The priest is no longer part of the parish after an "advocacy group" said his opinion was racist and offensive."
But Glenn explains why our church leaders SHOULD make us feel uncomfortable every single day.
In this video, Patrick Coffin reads the open letter that caused Father Rothrock to be removed and suspended as the pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carmel, IN.
In this video, I explain why I support Father Rothrock and why his suspension is unjust.
